The Liberty Lookout
A daily news briefing for people who don’t have time for nonsense
Most news is noise. Cable networks fill 24 hours with partisan shouting matches. Legacy outlets bury the lede under seven paragraphs of context you didn’t ask for. Half the internet is celebrity gossip dressed up as journalism.
The Liberty Lookout exists because we got tired of it.
Every day, we scan dozens of major news sources and pull out the five stories that actually matter to your life. We skip the political theater, the manufactured outrage, the congressional hearings that go nowhere, and the breathless coverage of whatever someone posted online. If a story doesn’t affect your money, your freedom, or your safety, it doesn’t make the cut.
We write for independent thinkers who are skeptical of power - government power especially, but institutional power of all kinds. We don’t trust official statistics at face value. We don’t assume military interventions make you safer. We don’t believe that every crisis requires a new law. We think your medical decisions, financial decisions, and personal choices are yours to make.
That said, we’re not a political outlet. We don’t carry water for any party or politician. When the right expands the surveillance state, we say so. When the left pushes mandates, we say so. The only consistent bias here is toward individual liberty and against people who want to run your life.
What you get: Five stories, sourced and cited, in under five minutes. Every morning. No filler.
